We are a couple from Kyrgyzstan, now living in Toronto, Canada, with a deep appreciation for the beauty, wisdom, and craftsmanship of our culture.
When we first moved into our apartment, we searched for something that would make it feel like home, something meaningful, lasting, and rooted in tradition. That search inspired the creation of KIYIZ.
Our journey began with a desire to share a piece of our heritage with others. Through our collection of handmade Shyrdaks, traditional felt rugs made using centuries-old nomadic techniques, we hope to bring the warmth, artistry, and soul of Kyrgyz culture into homes around the world.
